Description: Raw, nutrient dense Instafresh Juice Powders.
Finding organic vegetable drinks, and green drinks that actually taste good and I can consistently drink has been tough. Good organic vegetable drinks such as "The Perfect Food", and "True Greens" (by other companies) are healthy. However, the problem is drinking them over time without my body starting the gag reflex from the taste of licking a lawnmower. I could only tolerate drinking them for a few weeks, then I would stop. The only reason I would drink them at all is because of the healthy live whole foods in them. My hope was to find something that actually tasted good because that would make all the difference in the world regarding my staying consistent.
Then I accidentally ran into Uri International's The Feast. They claimed it tasted good. Though I found this hard to believe because I never drank any nutrient dense organic vegetable drinks (that had any serious variety of vegetables) which tasted good. So I was extremely skeptical. But it had a 90-day guarantee so I figured, what do I have to lose?
I got my order in 2 days and opened up my canister of the Feast. It looked a brownish green. The first thing I did was smell it. Oh oh. It had a soft scent of greens but not repugnant whatsoever (like a few other green drinks I've tried in the past). I took my shaker and mixed 1 serving. I had my fingers ready to pinch my nose if it tasted bad.
What a surprise! It actually tasted good! They say it has a natural mixed berry flavor. To me, it has a rich, "nutty", sweet berry flavor, but not too sweet. I knew instantly this was a "green" vegetable drink I could take all the time to help make my body more alkaline and balanced pH.
The idea I can get 30 antioxidant rich fruits and berries, 30 superfood greens and vegetables, 11 nutrient dense seeds, nuts & sprouts, 83 active enzymes & fulvic minerals, and 22 resilient probiotics in a good tasting drink is a dream come true.
The Feast and The Feast SuperCharged are clear winners.

I ran out of room in my review so I guess I'll just comment to "myself". lol. I wanted to mention that I am the owner of www.Green-Drinks.com. I loved The Feast so much that I decided to market it. I whole-heartedly believe in The Feast more than any other product I've ever sold.
I promise you that you'll start feeling very good after you take this organic, nutrient dense whole foods product. In my opinion, it is a "category killer" in the superfoods and healthy juice drinks category. (If you're interested in this as a business, please let me know. I'm always looking to expand and am looking for good sales representatives.)
Thanks for reading this review. I really do hope you're try The Feast for your own health's sake even if you didn't purchase it from me.

Is this suitable for vegans? I saw in the list of ingredients "lactobacillus casei" which sounds suspiciously like "casein" -- do you have any more information about those ingredients?
Also - it looks like they focus on wholesomeness but I don't see a mention about the source of the ingredients -- are they mixed organic and conventional?
Wayne F. says:
Good questions, Jenn. Yes, the Feast is suitable for a 100% vegan diet. No animal products or by-products are used. Everything is plant-based from whole foods except for the friendly probiotics.
"Lactobacillus casei is a transient, anaerobic microorganism of genus Lactobacillus found in the human intestine and mouth. As a lactic acid producer, it has been found to assist in the propagation of desirable bacteria. This particular species of lactobacillus is documented to have a wide pH and temperature range, and complements the growth of L. acidophilus, a producer of the enzyme amylase (a carbohydrate-digesting enzyme). It is known to improve digestion and reduce milk intolerance and constipation."
For more interesting info on this, go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lactobacillus_casei (Though lactobacillus casei is great for people who are lactose intolerant, it is not a product or by-product of milk.)
The Feast uses as much certified organic fruits and vegetables as possible, and anything else not officially "certified" is naturally grown. All the farmers practice organic farming on their crops. None of the whole food ingredients are from genetically modified crops. No pesticides are used, along with no irradiation.
This 24-page description about the truth about "healthy" foods in America today ought to be an interesting read.
