Exotic World of Teas
Stepping into The Tao of Tea's Original Tea house, is stepping into an exotic world, a peaceful place, where east meets west in an organic environment of bamboo, stone and reclaimed wood. I began buying teas at The Tao of Tea when it was the only teahouse in Portland, back in the late '90's, when they first opened. I was introduced to white tea there.
Now, there are other Tao of Tea teahouses: located in the spectacular Chinese Garden (you must visit there when visiting the area), and soon there will be a Tea Bar at Whole Foods in Tigard, Oregon.
Among my memorable moments, is brewing and sipping a beautiful tea. I look forward to slipping in to the Chinese Garden again, for quiet reflection with a hot cup of tea.
