Comments on Cris' review of The Wholefood Farmacy
The Wholefood Farmacy
Description: Offers whole foods, gluten free and non-toxic personal care items.
Mmmm...nah. For me, fresh is more satisfying, much tastier, and far less expensive.
I signed up with The Wholefood Farmacy so I could order an assortment of their food products to try at member pricing. Their niche market to health conscious folks and people on the go seemed like a reasonable approach to provide a better source of nutrition for adults and kids, especially those tempted to grab take-out or fast food when they're to busy prepare fresh whole foods at home. My take on the products is that they are way overpriced for what you get. The dried fruits and vegetables lacked flavor and were of so little substance that overall my sampling was a very unsatisfying experience. Something you should be aware of is that the shelf life of The Wholefood Farmacy foods is only 30-60 days, if stored correctly. Their products are derived from natural, non-GMO foods. A number of products are gluten free; all are dairy free. The company is in the process of seeking organic certification.
I previously wrote another review about their Boo! Key Balls; besides noting how unimpressed I was with the product, I mention that they didn't arrive in time for Halloween. Other than that unfortunate glitch, they appear to have a very polished business and marketing plan with immediate up-line support, as well as an efficient ordering, handling and shipping system.
