Don't get mad, get active!
Many brands of bottled water are in fact ordinary tap water. Why pay for bottled tap water? Why give corporations more of your hard earned money? Take the THINK OUTSIDE THE BOTTLE pledge. Did you know that in a year more than 4 billion lbs. of plastic bottles are sent to landfills, which requires over 17 million barrels of oil (which is the equivalent of fueling more than 1 million cars) and that alone generated in excess of 2.5 million tons of carbon dioxide! But there is hope, by taking the pledge you can send the message to local officials, that water is not a commodity, it is a human right and help spread the word.
