Evil chocolates that will call your name...

I purchased a box of Rose City chocolates -- it was on close-out because it was in a red heart-shaped box. It was well worth the cost. The chocolates and truffles were so delicious -- rich Belgian chocolate and the best cherry cordials. Best of all - vegan! Even non-vegans were delighted and raved about these chocolates.

Don't buy the if you have poor self-control when it comes to chocolate -- just bring a box to the party and share freely but otherwise, you risk all kinds of evil by keeping a box of these around. They're just too good to space out -- even 1 chocolate a day is not enough -- you will hear them calling your name when you are asleep in your bed.

Uncanny how chocolate can do that - cry out in the night - while broccoli lies silent in the refrigerator...

Ah - but the broccoli does cry out! It cries out in a voice that only my kitties hear in the middle of the night.

Swear to dog, I have the only two cats on the planet who go bonkers for raw broccoli stalk. As soon as I take broccoli out of the fridge, they are instantly in the kitchen. Even if I am sneaky -- once I break the flesh of the stalk -- they smell it and are in like vultures.

If you think that's peculiar cat behavior, one of them even steals strawberries and sugar snap peas from my garden right off the vine!

Chocolates, not so much for the kitties.
