Comments on Adam's review of Visa

First things first - i do not yet own this card. I have however applied for it and will provide an updated review after I receive it.
In the meantime, I just want to review it on merit. As with all credit cards, I did my due diligence to make sure that this one had competitive rates. The rates are a little high (unfortunately, but they aren't terrible, and since I always pay my balance back at the end of the month so that doesn't bother me so much. however, the somewhat high rates made me bump the card from a 5 to a 4.
The great thing about this card is that you earn carbon offsets every time you make a purchase. I really like this. i have had a credit card since before I went to college, and due to the fact that I live a fairly low budget lifestyle, i have never gotten any real reward from my credit card; my points never added up to anything. however, with this card, i am pretty much guaranteed to at least earn some credits. Hooray!
I also like how easy the application is - i already have a BofA visa, and i can change my card to thsi one for free. Switching to this card in no way shape or form is going to save the world, plus it means doing business with BofA who invest in some not so great from a social perspective business, but hey, every little but right?
