My favorite new Mission restaurant

You don't generally expect a restaurant with an animal in the title to be so vegan-friendly, but Weird Fish has something for everyone. In addition to their fishy dishes they have a number of veggie options, which all rotate. They make "fish sticks" out of tempeh, seitain, or tofu depending on the day. My favorite is the latter. If you haven't had your fill of fried foods, the fired pickles are also amazing, as well as their mix of regular and sweet potato fries.

They make a great vegan brunch as well, frequently offering breakfast tacos and vegan pancakes. I've never had a bad meal here. All their ingredients are so fresh and from what I've read it sounds like they're really committed to fresh, local, sustainable ingredients.
