For light where there is no light!

These flashlights are truly great. I volunteer with the Indigenous Education Foundation of Tanzania (IEFT), a grassroots, non-profit organization, that's currently building a school in a rural area of Tanzania in Africa and we love to give these flashlights to our students. The village has no electricity and a wind-up flashlight allows the students to study after dark (after they finish their household chores) - it is truly wonderful!

Of course, it works great in the US as well - no batteries to dispose of or buy!!!
