Head-on train collision kills 12 in Los Angeles
So much for "going metro with the mayor" or "going green"... freight vs passenger trains really need to be on separate tracks ... cargo wins every time! still, fewer people dead than happens in car accidents every day.
my advice? don't sit in the first few cars on any train!
