Take inventory of projects you’d like to complete before the cold days of winter arrive, and commit to completing at least two items on the list. Examples include: have your fireplace inspected and cleaned as needed; install window blinds or curtains to insulate against drafts; caulk cracks around windows; have your furnace inspected, change the filter and install a programmable thermostat.
