Do one of the following: change your faucet aerators to low flow to save 55% more water and energy, plus a water savings of over 12,000 gallons per year; take a shorter shower (if all Denver residents reduce their shower time by 45 seconds, we could collectively save over 400 million gallons of water each year); check for leaks by putting food coloring in your toilet tank. If it seeps into the toilet bowl without flushing, you have a leak. Fixing it can save up to 1,000 gallons a month.
