Oakland's annual Art & Soul Festival will be bumped to up August this year, instead of the usual Labor Day weekend. Two days of entertainment, and food: August 15 & 16 from 12-6 pm. $10 for admission.
Want to help out? Zero-Waste Zone Green Team, headed by Helen Wyman, will be keeping the area clean, directing all waste to be recycled or composted. Volunteers for this will receive free admission, a nifty t-shirt *and* a meal voucher! Interested?
