A brief update to declare The 2009 Southern Colorado Sustainability Conference a complete success.
The event wound down this afternoon after 2 full days of speakers, workshops, master-mind groups, break-out study sessions, and more.
With an unofficial estimated attendance of over 800 local government officials, businesses and individual community members, as well as over 70 vendors of and exhibitors the conference which was designed to bring more awareness to issues of sustainability included a full buffet dinner complete with local band 'Grass it up' as well as a continental breakfast, lunch and closing address.
Many thanks to The Catamount Institute as well as The Pikes Peak Sustainable Business Network for both organizing and hosting this special event. Many thanks also go out to all the other sponsors, local businesses and individuals that worked so hard to make this event a huge success.
These comments are brought to you with a heartfelt thank you from Mitchell Dillman and DillmanSolutions. Looking forward to another successful event just like it next year! Thanks for you leadership and inspiring ecological stewardship in the Pikes Peak region and beyond.
