Position Overview:
The firm is seeking an experience Commissioning Agent/Construction Administration to join their team. This person will serve as the project lead throughout the construction process and be responsible for all day-to-day aspects of the construction phases of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects in office. Local travel to job sites on a regular basis is required. Out of town travel is required occasionally.

Responsibilities:
• Perform building commissioning, including CX plan, installation checks, testing, and reporting
• Review documents for constructability issues during design development and construction documents phases
• Coordinate responses to RFIs and contractor questions with design team
• Review submittals
• Work with design team to resolve design issues that arise during the construction process
• Attend construction meetings as required
• Conduct on-site observation visits to verify contractor's work and develop punch lists

Skills and Qualifications:
• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
• 3-5 years of green building commissioning and construction administration experience
• HVAC design experience highly desirable
• Experience with and understanding of LEED commissioning requirements
• Knowledge and understanding of a variety of construction and engineering practices
• Project management skills

Compensation:
Commensurate with experience.
