Langan offers integrated engineering and environmental services for both public and private sector clients at sites located throughout the United States and abroad. Langan has an opening for an entry level Environmental Engineer / Scientist in our New York City office. As the successful candidate, you will have interest in conducting Phase I/Phase II’s, drilling supervision, sampling, well installation, construction/remediation oversight, technical report and work plan writing.
Responsibilities
B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Science or a related scientific field.
M.S. degree preferred
- 0-6 years professional experience;
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities;
- Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work in a team environment;
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
- New York State & City experience would be desirable;
- Working knowledge of computers; and,
- Availability to work overtime.
