The Trust for Public Land, a national non-profit organization dedicated to saving land for people to enjoy as parks, gardens, and other natural places, has an opening in its New York City office for a Project Manager II.

Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for all aspects of our real estate acquisition transactions and the conveyance of land to public entities, including the evaluation of potential projects; project strategy and negotiations with landowners; and meeting with elected officials and staff regarding conveyance of properties to public entities throughout the State of New York.

Qualifications
The position requires 4-5 years experience in real estate transactions and/or land conservation; computer literacy; and/or work for or with public agencies engaged in land conservation. A degree in real estate, law, planning, land conservation or a related field preferred. Experience working in a philanthropic organization a plus. Some travel (30-40%) is required

Compensation
Salary: $55,600-$74,250
