Description
IceStone is seeking a Sales and Marketing Intern for the fall of 2009. The Internship is a full-time position for the duration of the fall. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated college student or recent graduate to gain hands on experience in a sustainable company, exposure to sales, marketing and the architectural and design industry.
Responsibilities:
Intern tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing Teams on New York Blitz
- Accompany team on sales appointments to architecture & design firms, as well as kitchen & bath dealers, and stone fabricators
- Assist the Sales Team in updating clients’ resource libraries with samples and coordinate shipment of requested product samples with the Samples Department
- Assist Sales Team with the coordination of Lunch & Learn Presentations
- Work closely with marketing to roll-out programs
- Assist Sales Team with client follow up and updating Salesforce.com
- Assist Marketing in the coordination of IceStone Events
- General administrative tasks
Qualifications:
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to work with Excel, Word and Power Point documents
- A great attitude and willingness to be flexible
This is a great internship for some who really wants to get some hands on learning and business skills that can transfer to future positions.
Compensation: This internship is three months long and we offer a stipend of $1500.
