Senior Director - Greenhouse Gas Verificaton

Description
Sequence is seeking a Senior GHG Verification Practice Group Leader with direct knowledge and experience in consulting and marketing for the emerging greenhouse gas services market.Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include the development of sustainability and climate action plans, overseeing verification activities for clients, performing climate risk management, and conducting business development / strategic planning aimed at solving complex business issues and delivering client solutions. Candidates should have a strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and proposal development.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have at minimum 10+ years experience in GHG verification, air quality, energy generation, demand side management and/or sustainability, as well as demonstrated expertise in climate change and greenhouse gas issues. Must have previous experience in leading quantification and/or verification of greenhouse gas emissions and a solid understanding of policy and regulatory developments in the state, regional, and national marketplaces.
Requires a degree in Environmental Management / Policy, Engineering or related discipline. Masters Degree is preferred. Must have exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Position can be based anywhere in the United States, preference given to candidates in the California Marketplace (San Francisco, Los Angeles or San Diego).
