ACRT Inc. is currently seeking an experienced System Arborist in Western Minnesota. Lake Region Electric Cooperative has contracted ACRT, Inc. to revolutionize the management of their Vegetation Management program.
The System Arborist will be responsible for creating and implementing a best in class management program. Duties will include work planning, auditing, budgeting, conflict resolution, and reporting activities to the customer. In addition, the System Arborist will train and supervise other ACRT personnel on the property.
Requirements:
- Degree in Forestry, Biology, or related fields is required
- ISA Certification and utility vegetation management experience highly desired
- Experience in work planning and auditing a plus
- Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently,
- Ability to identify local trees and knowledge of growth rates
- Ability to work in rugged terrain and inclement weather
- Ability to read and follow maps
- Valid Driver License and ability to drive and operate a 4x4 vehicle
