Smells like cooking!

This is the response I heard from everyone who walked in as I was trying out this lovely salve. The "cooking" smell is due to the soothing herbs that it contains, and the consistency is great- not greasy but very moisturizing.

Love should be the sixth ingredient.

There are only five ingredients in this product, but it should be six. The last ingredient should be love. The owner of this company created the salve for his baby daughter's eczema--a well placed sticker on the top of the jar tells his story briefly. He is an acupuncturist and knew how to make something that would help her without added chemicals. I noticed an effect from using this skin soother after only a few hours. The dry skin on my feet was softer and more supple, not sticky at all, the salve was completely absorbed by my skin. The smell might take some getting used to for some, but I love it. It smells like cooking, not all flowery and perfumey from fake additives to alter the smell. The chinese herbs inside sort of smell like bay leaves. It smells the way I imagine a lot more products might if they weren't so full of chemicals. I love this product.

I LOVE This Skin Soothing Balm---I also Created It.

My customer told me she had posted reviews of our products here @ Sustainlane so I came to check it out and joined in the fun.
My "Emily Baby and Adult Skin Soother" was inspired by my daughter Emily, who was born with baby eczema. I am an acupuncturist/herbalist and knew that I could help her safely and naturally. The products I made for her are incredibly simple yet effective. I have purposefully avoided adding any artificial colors, fragrances, preservatives, chemicals. The balm contains 5 ingredients: beeswax, olive oil and three chinese herbs. I use it on my daughter daily, so I can assure you it is made of the highest quality ingredients.
I never planned on launching this product, but after using it on my patients I got overwhelmingly positive feedback. Numerous people have gotten off topical steroids for long term dry skin conditions using our products. If you have any dry type skin condition I hope you'll check out our website.

Natural Salve Helped my Baby's Eczema

When my infant daughter was diagnosed with eczema I did not want to put steroids on her unless it was unavoidable. A friend told me about Emily Skin Soothers' products which were designed by an acupuncturist/herbalist for his own daughter. I bought and tried them.
They are all natural and very simple. I felt comfortable with the fact that there were very few ingredients, just olive oil, beeswax and 3 herbs. I used them on my daughter and her skin improved dramatically in just a few weeks. I know she is not cured, and we still use the product to maintain, but she is not itching or scratching and thus far has not needed to use or take any meds.
