I'm a member of Greening Neighborhoods, an organization dedicated to the reduction of carbon footprint throughout communities. By installing CFLs when incandescant bulbs burnout, I know that I'm helping to reduce energy consumption and cost while lowering my carbon footprint. I was raised in home with a very strict policy of always turning out lights when I leave a room, I'm confident these 2 practices together will make a positive difference.
