We went through each room in the house and plugged as many electronics (humidifiers, reading lights, stereos, laptops, etc.) into surge protectors as possible. In addition, I have always been a stickler for turing off lights when you leave a room, so we are working on turning off lights and flipping the surge protector switch off, too!

My sister - the BEST dental hygienist I have ever had (so gentle!) - unplugged my electric toothbrush. I know, I know....is an electric toothbrush really needed? YES! I love it! My teeth are cleaner than ever, and I don't throw a plastic toothbrush away every three months! Bridget recommends it too!

The television, CD and DVD players are all plugged in to this power strip. My father needs to be reminded to turn it off every night...I think taking this picture will help remind him!

Sure, I already unplugged the air conditioner, but I took the liberty of stopping Sherman to get him to unplug his cell phone charger. He didn't know about ghost draw and doesn't have an account so he said I could upload this for him.

So, the cell phone charger doesn't always have to be plugged in. Besides, its usually attached to my head anyways. It has a green LED to say whether it has a draw or not and this is the first time I recall where the light has been off...usually just leave it plugged in. From now on I'm going to leave it unplugged until I'm charging...I did this on some things in the office (CD clock, etc) as well.

There are two old air conditioners in a rarely used conference room, so I unplugged the old air conditioners, reducing the ghost draw.

We have two old air conditioners in our offices too, I will explore to learn if they are plugged in.
