It takes water to make energy, and it takes energy to process and deliver water. So when you save one, you’re saving the other too. There are lots of water-saving tips here and energy-saving tips here. Do at least one of the tips on the website, or one of these. xeriscape (low-water landscaping), install high-efficiency toilets, get a low-flow showerhead and more; get tax rebates for energy efficiency improvements such as windows, insulation, new air conditioners and even solar panels; buy Energy Star and WaterSense products or services.
