I'm part of Greening Neighborhoods, an organization dedicated to the reduction of carbon footprints throughout communities. By creating a spreadsheet complete with calculations on key components to track carbon footprint, we are capturing a baseline and tracking consumption monthly. What's been very rewarding and enlightening is that we can compare each other's consumption from across 4 key areas and neighbors are competing to have the lowest carbon footprint.

I am a member of Greening Neighborhoods an initiative to help our residents reduce the natural resources they use and save money. I am packing my lunch made from the local produce I bought at the local farmers market. The bag I use is reused everyday. I no longer use the paper bags which were thrown out everyday.

Lew and I are recruiting a new member to join Greening Neighborhoods and commit to tracking water, gas, electric and gasoline consumption so she can have a baseline to track reductions in her energy bills when she conserves use of natural resources.

I am a member of Greening Neighborhoods a group of household members that are commited to reducing their carbon footprint and saving money. One of the things we do is log our water, gas, electric and gasoline use in order to measure our carbon footprint and provide ourselves with a baseline so we can track our savings. That's what I'm doing here.

So far Greening Neighborhoods/Atlanta is the most active neighborhood block party in the country. Your group is off to a great start. Let's see who else decides to man up!
