A fabulous new eco friendly boutique
A few days ago my 9 year old granddaughter and I (accidentally) found a anew boutique. Visionary Boutique. It's tuckedd away in a courtyard across Melrose Avenue from Urth Cafe in West Hollywood. WOW! It truly has something for everyone (even puppy treats by their front door). We spent an hour there looking at everything, smelling everything and trying on everything. We walked out with me wearing my new Linda Laudermilk organic bamboo denim jeans. Me! A grandmama! My granddaughter walked out wearing her new Visionary 'green is the new black' organic tee shirt AND her new Visionary necklace. It is so adorable. It doubles as a bracelet and has a locket that opens to a bland scroll where she wrote her 'wish for the world' message. "Peace and love for everyone, everywhere", she wrote. As soon as we got home my granddaughter ran to the computer wanting to join the 'Visionary Club'. "It's free, it's free. I can earn more charms for my necklace, and I can have my picture on the internet. Please, Grandmama, please." After she joined 'the club' she hugged me and with her beautiful big brown eyes said to me, "only one more thing, Grandmama. Next time we go to that Visionary store can we please buy me one of those different cultures Karito Kids dolls? They're much prettier than those American Girl dolls, you know. Please, Grandmama, please". The store owner was so patient, kind and generous. She showed us that the Visionary hangtags are embedded with seeds which, when planted, become a bed of wildflowers. She put a 'free' Mystic sticker on my granddaughter's forehead, gave her a hug and said "you've got to meet my daughter. You could dress like twins". We love this new boutique. It's eco friendly and they plant a tree for each item sold. They care about our planet. You've got to check it out; especially in time for Mother's Day gifts..........just a Grandmama
