Review of Tangerine Orange Juice by Columbia Gorge Organic

5 star rating Review of Tangerine Orange Juice July 19, 2007 | Posted in Tasty Drinks

Tangerine Orange Juice I'd like to replace my intake of regular OJ with this tasty little specimen. Unfortunately, I don't consume OJ on a regular basis.

Review of Vita Sea Superfood by Columbia Gorge Organic

2 star rating Review of Vita Sea Superfood July 19, 2007 | Posted in Tasty Drinks

Thick like mud "A superfood is a type of food that is believed to have more significant health benefits than any other type of food due to their specific phytonutrient content." -wikipedia

All I know about superfood beverages is that they make my stomach hurt. Perhaps its purifying effect is too intense for my...

Review of Pomegranite Red Tea With Goji Berry by Honest Tea

3 star rating Review of Pomegranite Red Tea With Goji Berry July 19, 2007 | Posted in Tasty Drinks

Gimme my wolfberry! Wolfberry has many aliases, some of which are: Chinese Wolfberry, Red Medlar, Bocksdorn, Cambronera, Duke of Argyll's Tea Tree, or Matrimony Vine.

Mixing it with Pomegranate (Punica granatum) gives it an interesting twist in this tea. Not too over the top.

Review of Peach Oo-La-Long by Honest Tea

3 star rating Review of Peach Oo-La-Long July 19, 2007 | Posted in Tasty Drinks

Peach suprise When I tasted this thing, I didn't know what flavor it was. It was so reminiscent of something, and I couldn't put my finger on it. Peach...of course!

Its organic, which helps me sleep at night.

Review of Organic Black Gold Goat Cheese by Elk Creamery

2 star rating Review of Organic Black Gold Goat Cheese July 5, 2007 | Posted in Food & Grocery

What about all the babies? Cheese is cheese. Let's get that one straight.

Some little baby goat didn't get milk from it's mama because someone else, perhaps owners of opposable thumbs, wanted it more. So what happened to the baby goat? Did it go hungry?

Review of Raw Sharp Cheddar Cheese by Organic Valley Farms

3 star rating Review of Raw Sharp Cheddar Cheese July 5, 2007 | Posted in Food & Grocery

Someone wore out their welcome I wouldn't say that it left a bad taste in my mouth, but it definitely left a taste in my mouth, perhaps a bit longer than I would have liked it to.

Review of Yellow Corn Tortilla Chips by Kettle Foods

3 star rating Review of Yellow Corn Tortilla Chips July 3, 2007 | Posted in Food & Grocery

Shouldn't be legal Once you start, you can't stop. These things possess a disturbing addictive quality. They just might be that good.

The bag has "organic" written all over it, but I suspect that they use GMO corn.

5 star rating Review of DreamHost May 19, 2007 | Posted in Books, Mags, Music & Film

A pleasant suprise Dreamhost is known around the internet for their superior service and good price plans. I finally signed up for an account and I was pleased to see that DreamHost is "carbon neutral" (they buy clean energy credits for all the power they use). Members are encouraged to place a "green hosting" badge...

Review of Thoroughly Clean Face Wash by Desert Essence

5 star rating Review of Thoroughly Clean Face Wash April 6, 2007 | Posted in Skin & Body Care

The one that works for me Neutrogena, Oxy, you name it. I tried them all and none of them ever really cleared up my skin. I was at Trader Joes one day and saw this tea tree oil face wash. I picked it up and I remember to this day (3 years ago) the first time I used it. I have never used another face wash product since. I...
