LifeKind is Terrible
I ordered a latex bed from LifeKind. The sales staff talks it up like they are your best friend but it is only a sales job. I told the lady (Sylvia) that I had a low profile bed, so she recommended I get a 3.5 inch support foundation. After paying the mattress cost $3000 and delivery ($600) and I get it and the combined height of the foundation and the mattress is only 10.5 inches. She didn't tell me the mattress was only 7 inches. In addition, the bed was so firm that I couldn't sleep on my side or it would hurt my shoulder. I call her up and say that I would like to exchane the mattress. She say everything in the book to try to get me to keep it as they didn't want to do the return even though they say they will within 90 days. She keeps going on that I should just change the foundation to a box spring to solve the problem. Of course, this is the least costly option for them but it would still cost me another $600 in shipping. Then I say I want to exchange the foundation for an 8 inch size, and she says that isn't a comfort exchange but a prefernce exchange. I tell her if she had told me in the first place how small in height the mattress was I wouldn't have to exchange the foundation. She then says sorry but I will have to buy another foundation. With the shipping that would be another $1200 bucks after already being down $3600.
In all, the bed is horribly uncomfortable and once they have a sale they try everything to try to convince you not to do a comfort return. The shipping they charge is also rediculous. Going forward, I will use the natural bed store as I placed an order for my son's bed through them. Their service is much better, and the bed much more comfortable. In addition, they offer free shipping compared to the $6-800 LifeKind charges. LifeKind is a total joke, there are much better options out there. Take it from someone who got taken by them.
