Keep the Vacuum in the Broom Closet Well . . . at least for a week or two. This doesn't take the place of a vacuum (it doesn't pick up everything) but it delays the need to set up and plug in and keeps the floors looking pretty good. It's nonelectric so you're saving energy and money by using it and it's super easy to use and sturdy...
