Static Eliminator Re-Usable Dryer Sheet System
I love this product!
We were without any fabric softener since I do not care for the laundry additives - even the soy based ones and do not trust disposable dryer sheets.
The 'system' consists of a pair of fabric sheets woven with copper strands that you leave in your dryer.
There are NO chemicals used, so there is no residue on your clothes - and no odor!
It is re-usable for over 500 loads, although I cannot yet attest to that.
We have been using this for about a month and we love it.
The only maintenance required is to wash it every three to four months.

Sylvania Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb
We got this bulb for a reading light. We needed the equivalent of a 150 watt light bulb, and this certainly fills the bill!
It is VERY bright, and feels like sunlight in terms of the color. It has a color number of 3000K and a rated output of 2600 lumens.
We like this compact fluorescent better than some of the others we have gotten, which are dimmer to begin with, although they brighten up in a bit. Some faster than others!
This one comes on fast and bright.
It cost us about 10 smackeroos, which we thought was a bit high, but this was the only 150 watt equivalent we could find at the local big box retailer, and hubby really needed a reading light since his last 3-way conventional had gone down to 50 watts only. We did NOT want to get another conventional bulb for that relatively high usage lamp.
The expected life of the bulb is 6000 hours.
Unlike some other compact fluorescents which we have gotten or looked at, this bulb has NO warning about interference with radios, cordless phones, televisons, and//or remote controls.

Soft, environmental and inexpensive!
While this isn't the most thrilling product to review or read about, it IS a necessity. This product is 100% recycled paper, 10 to 25% post-consumer, and no chlorine is used to bleach it, so it is GREEN. It is soft - a LOT softer than the Seventh Generation stuff - and LOT cheaper! If you have a Trader Joe's in your town, try it!

Go for it!
We got our Prius last year and love it's fabulous handling and zippiness. We have to watch it or we are speeding before we know it! Not to mention the mileage! We are getting 50-52 mpg combined city/highway. We started out getting ONLY 47-49, but it has now increased a bit. One the nicest things about the car is that it does not smell like a conventional gasoline engine car, even though it has a gasoline engine. Our garage does not smell like it has a car in it at all! There was very little new-car smell, which was big hit with me. It is roomier than you would think, and has great cargo space in the back. We are very happy with our very GREEN hybrid car!
