My Prius is great. I have gotten up to 52 miles per gallon. Passengers are surprised by how large and comfortable it is. I hope, however, that my next car uses even less gas. After having seen the movie Who Killed the Electric Car it is clear that Toyota, and other carmakers, can do even better. I would happily purchase an all-electric car (like the ones that were smashed in the Arizona desert in the late 1990s) if a viable version were to come on the market again. Without incentives, however, this is not likely to happen soon. Any ideas about how to encourage car dealers in light of disincentives from the (current) government, big oil (of course), and the car makers themselves who make money from sale of parts that would no longer be needed?
