I came out to California in 1993 after growing up on the east coast. I love that I've seen life on both coasts, but hope to one day find myself spending time in the thousands of small towns between New York and San Francisco. I started SustainLane in 2004 after a long career in business and technology. The idea for the company developed during a year I spent living in Big Sur, CA...just a magical place of giant trees and clean mountain air :-)

There have been many people who have come through our doors over the past 5 years, and each has made an incredible contribution to the company. I am grateful for their efforts, even as we continue to create fun and exciting new offerings for our community of people, businesses, and governments interested in helping us achieve our mission: to create a sustainable society.

I love the outdoors, it's my inspiration for so much in my life. It seemed right to spend my life in service of maintaining the natural beauty and life-giving services of our planet. I spend way too much time working, but that's the catch when you love what you do, and I absolutely love SustainLane, and all that we do.
