More LessDon Bosch started The Evangelical Ecologist just before New Years 2004. He has a bachelors degree in biology from Pacific Lutheran University and a Master of Public Administration from Troy State University.
Don is a credentialed as a Qualified Environmental Professional under the Institute of Professional Environmental Practice, and has more than fifteen years of experience manging Federal environmental planning, toxic site cleanups, compliance programs, and pollution reduction efforts.
The Lord has him planted for now in Newport RI, sharing a habitat with the very lovely and talented Eco-Wife, three teenagers, two dogs, four fish (usually), and a toeless cockatiel named Pedro.
When he's not doing creation care online, he is actively involved in Evangelical Friends Church men's ministry and plays sax and bass on the praise team.
ABOUT THE BLOG
The Tree of Life is found three places in scripture. The first place is in the Garden of Eden. God gave it to mankind so He could dwell with men forever in paradise. Their choice to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil resulted in the fall of men into sin for generations, and the curse of God on the earth and all creation.
The second tree was erected at Golgotha. God's son Jesus was hung on it, a substitute for the sin of the whole world, and a gift of free grace from a loving God.
The last tree is found in Revelation. The Tree of Life is found in the new city of God where those who know Christ as savior will be with Him forever in a new heaven and earth.
The dove represents the Holy Spirit, the power of God to all who believe in His Son. It is this power alone that truly allows a human being to be a steward of creation. Only then can He know the Master's heart.
The sun is the light of God, established by the word of God in the beginning of the world. The dawn is the morning of the resurrection, and new life in Christ.
This blog is dedicated to the act of loving God by caring for that which He has gifted to man.
