yeah for local produce - hoping for more organic vendors
I love that we can get fresh produce from the farmers in Alameda, twice a week, but only a couple of vendors are organic.
Health Care Needs Met!
John is a great acupuncturist and herbalist. He really listens and is able to connect the dots. He teaches at ACCHS and Five Branches and does a weekly health care radio show "the Balancing Point" KEST 1450 AM. A main part of his practice is in helping people have hope and understanding about their health and how they can make changes.

Real ingredients - Aromatherapy so good you want to eat it!
Shelley Rosenfeld Brooks does a fantastic job. Her aromatherapy facials are great. Also her skin care products change with the seasons and they seem to penetrate the skin and are not at all greasy. Also the list of ingredients is all stuff that a normal person (not a chemist) will recognice.

Best Bread since Acme came to town
I love their pumcho muffins. they are pumpkin and chocolate, as they say in la "to die for, darling". They also have great little carrot cakes with cream cheese filling - delish! the bread selection changes daily and is fantastic - fresh crunchy crusts, fluffy insides
