Good Alternative to Plastic Bags

Here is yet another reusable bag which my wife got a hold of and bought in a variety of colors for family members. It is sturdy and convenient and comes in a ton of different colors. They have a handy little pouch to fold the bag and keep it in and the bags do fold up incredibly thin and small. It is made of a tough but lightweight fabric. I rate them a 4 instead of a 5 because I know there are similar but cheaper products out there. I guess my wife paid a few bucks more per bag to be fashionable and have her choice of colors. Anyway--we are using almost no plastic bags these days and I do not mind spending a few extra bucks to avoid plastic bags.

Lavender Lovers Rejoice!!!

This is the lavender version of our Baby and Adult Skin Soother, a product inspired by and created for my own daughter's baby eczema. As an acupuncturist and herbalist, I did not want to put anything harsh on my baby, so I created a simple product powered by Chinese herbs. This version has 6 simple ingredients: olive oil, beeswax, three herbs and some high grade lavender essential oil. Our products are based on the idea that everything you put ON your body ends up IN your body, so we use as few ingredients as possible.
People use our products for dry, red, irritated, flaking, rashy skin. You can see and learn more about our products on our website.

I Use These Bags for All Shopping

I have about 6 Trader Joe's Reusable bags and use them in most shopping situations. They are cheap but sturdy and very convenient. I would like to see TJs phase out normal paper and plastic (like our local Whole Foods is doing) or maybe charge a small usage tax (like some local governments) on plastic bags to discourage their use. I think that would help speed progress on this important issue.

Laundry SOAP, not detergent. Better for your skin.

This is a superconcentrated laundry SOAP. It is a soap because it does not contain the harsh chemical detergents. It comes in a gallon jug-recyclable. It is an energy saver b/c can be used in cold water. Biodegradable, no phosphates, light clean smell, minimal fragrance. I like it very much. I bought it b/c my daughter has sensitive skin. The only problem is they sell direct only, no stores and they are out of California. NOt great for East Coasters. They need distribution here. I also bought their dishwasher powder, liquid dish soap and shampoo. All high quality and good for sensitive skin.

Review of Hemp Protein

Chocolate Chili!!! Terrific protein powder.

You simply cannot go wrong with the combo of chocolate with a dash of cayenne in it. On top of that, this product is one after my own heart, it is VERY simple, only a few ingredients. NO junk added. They use some cane sugar--fine by me, and better than the chemical sugar substitutes in many protein powders. It mixes reasonably easily and is great in fruit shakes and morning coffee. Very yummy and good for you too.

Review of Yerba Mate

Tried it Because of Sustain Lane--LOVE IT!!!

I've seen this stuff around but never tried it. I do love tea, but not smoky flavors. After reading all the positive reviews here I was intrigued. I bought a bag. I am sure I was positively influenced, but I found thi tea quite nice. It is smoky, but in a mild way. It does give a smooth lift too, I did not feel jittery like I can if I drink Irish teas. Yummy good stuff.

I Dig This Site

I first saw you guys in Ode Magazine. Then, a customer of mine wrote a review of our products on here. I came to check it out myself. It is a very cool concept and I love the idea of people who care sharing their experiences/opinions with people who care. I have now used the site as a resource to look up like-minded businesses and potential venues for my products, but also for fun to get tips about tasty treats, good restaurants and safe body care products. Please stay around for a long time.

THE ONLY SOAP I USE--because I make it in huge batches.

Yes--I am the creator. I am biased. But, I know everything there is to know about this product.
I created it for my infant daughter who was born with eczema. It is incredibly simple and natural. The ingredients are: shea butter, saponified olive, avocado, palm and coconut oils and 3 chinese herbs. There are no colors, no fragrances and absolutely nothing else. My daughter and wife and I use it daily, so it is made of the highest quality ingredients.
It can be used with the most sensitive skin and is extremely soothing and moistening. Most soaps strip your natural oils and leave your skin feeling tight and dry. This will leave your skin happy. Try it for yourself.

I LOVE This Skin Soothing Balm---I also Created It.

My customer told me she had posted reviews of our products here @ Sustainlane so I came to check it out and joined in the fun.
My "Emily Baby and Adult Skin Soother" was inspired by my daughter Emily, who was born with baby eczema. I am an acupuncturist/herbalist and knew that I could help her safely and naturally. The products I made for her are incredibly simple yet effective. I have purposefully avoided adding any artificial colors, fragrances, preservatives, chemicals. The balm contains 5 ingredients: beeswax, olive oil and three chinese herbs. I use it on my daughter daily, so I can assure you it is made of the highest quality ingredients.
I never planned on launching this product, but after using it on my patients I got overwhelmingly positive feedback. Numerous people have gotten off topical steroids for long term dry skin conditions using our products. If you have any dry type skin condition I hope you'll check out our website.
