This fixes my chapped lips

This lip 'elixir' fixes my chapped lips. It tastes good and it's not all waxy. The label reads ' Vegan-100% Natural-70% Organic'.

I freaking love this coffee!

I've been to a couple of their locations; Hayes Valley (San Francisco) and the new location off Mission Street (San Francisco). Certified Organic coffee...it's delicious.

Review of Mixt Greens

Mixt Greens at 560 Mission Street in San Francisco, great place

I just ate at Mixt Greens at 560 Mission Street (between 2nd and 1st Street) in San Francisco. It is great! The menu offers alot of variety as well as a 'design your own salad' option. There a couple seasonal salads and sandwiches too. They state they serve 'environmentally responsible fine food'. They offer organic and locally sourced ingredients...yay! They also use 100% compostable corn take-away containers. Their spaces are built with renewable, recycled and environmentally friendly materials.

Their website is: (http://www.mixtgreens.com)

The space at 560 Mission is really open and nice. They have outside tables in a courtyard that is surrounded by large bamboo plants.

I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch.

Wild Mushroom Ramen

I've eaten at the Medicine Eatstation several times and I definitely like the Wild Mushroom Ramen. It's a little on the bland side but that is what I expect from a basic ramen dish. I always feel great after eating it, not stuffed or bloated.

Review of Vodka

360 Vodka tasty, tasty, tasty

I mixed the vodka with some cranberry juice, ice and a little water. The results, a tasty, refreshing drink.

The company website has a great philosophy regarding making the vodka and concerning the environment. I'm 3/4 the way through with my drink and I can't articulate my words very well. Enjoy

Yum, Yum, Yum Dark Organic Chocolate with Chery

If you like dark chocolate and cherries you should definitely try this. Great with coffee or a tasty Cabernet Sauvignon. Very smooth too.

Blue Waters Kayaks in Marshall (Tomales Bay) California

I've rented kayaks from Blue Waters Kayaks many times and they are great. A three to four hour trip around Tomales Bay is amazing. Other than the small businesses and a few homes the bay seems untouched and pure. The staff has always been great; helpful, friendly, easy-going. And when you're done kayaking walk next door and have some oysters; BBQ, Raw or Rockefeller. And they also arrange kayaking trips to Mexico.

Review of Detox Foot Pads

Kinoki Detox Foot Pads

I just started using these. So far I've used them for 3 nights and each morning the pads are brown and sludgy looking. If over time there is no brown sludge then maybe something is actually happening. I'll update soon.
UPDATE Jan. 2, 2008: Hmmmm an update. I used the Kinoki foot pads for 5 days ( I thought I was supposed to receive 10 nights worth but only got 6 nights worth of pads). On all of the nights I used the pads they definitely turned brown and nasty looking. It seems like it did do something, as in my feet look great really rosey and healthy looking. I do want to try it again for a longer duration to see if the brown color diminshes over time. To receive the order took about 3 weeks. I'm not 100% sold on this but I do want to try again. I hope this helps.

What's the update, are you detox'd? more »

Rob F. says:
Update: I think they are bogus. I ordered my second batch which included 14 patches so enough for 7 nights on both feet. The 7th round of patched looked exactly like the 1st round of patches...brown and sludgy. more »

Review of Osmosis Spa

Cedar, rice bran and Japanese enzymes create natural fermentation to detox you.

A great experience. Cozy wooden tubs are filled with a fragrant blend of finely ground cedar, rice bran, and plant enzymes imported from Japan. These ingredients heat naturally, by fermentation, creating biologically generated warmth that mimics the body's natural metabolic process. Pre-bath a Japanstyle tea blended to enhance the bath's metabolic processes. Post-bath a relaxtion room with metamusic to further relax your brain wave activity.
