Table top digital scales made from biodegradeable plastic
My Weigh has started a line of hemp-plastic scales withy fully biodegradeable bodies. I have been using the i5000-H scale for some time now and it works great. Although hemp-plastic is much more expensive to manufacture than regular plastic, My Weigh has been selling these scale at close to cost to keep them competitively priced. However, the company seem not to have settled on a name for the line, so they can be found listed as hemp plastic, bioplastic or eco-plastic.

Too good to be true
It's a nice idea that you could do away with your chemical soaked, single-use dryer sheets, but these dryer sheets don't noticeable reduce static cling.

Shed your plastic water bottles
I discovered the Kleen Kanteen when I started getting away from buying disposable plastic water bottles. The Kleen Kanteen comes in different sizes with different types of caps (all interchangeable). The water taste a lot better than trying to reuse plastic bottles and they're very easy to clean out. I have a bunch I keep filled and refrigerated. Great for other liquids as well, milk, tea, etc.
