I'm a sucker for fruity smells, especially when they aren't overpowering and artificial. Pear Dishmate smells like the real thing, so much so that my mouth starts to water a bit. It makes the drudgery of washing dishes into aromatherapy. I only gave it 4 stars because it's not that sudsy (but maybe that's a good thing, if keeps our waterways clean).

Love this stuff! This has been a life saver during the long, dry, Midwest winters. I can actually feel my lips healing up after I put it on. I was always losing my precious lip balm, so I've started keeping one in every coat pocket.

The guy in Dr. Strangelove was right...beware of fluorinated water! As little as 0.04 mg/kg/day has been proven to cause adverse health effects, and it only accumulates in our bodies over time. We may have no choice about the fluoride in our water, so do we really need it in toothpaste too? It's great that Tom's provides a wide range of alternatives from the big mainstream brands that brag about fluoride, not presenting it as the poison it really is.
I've tried many of the flavors over the years and fennel is my favorite, with propolis + myrrh a close second. Cinnamint is bit too bracing for me, but some people may really enjoy it. I recommend steering clear of the Gingermint.

i usually don't drink soda at all, but this was not too sweet and very refreshing, not sticky leaving a coating in your mouth like most sodas. the carbonation is a bit strong for me, but is great alternative to standard soft drinks.

i've been using this for years and it not only does a great job of cleaning, but i love that it makes my clothes come out smelling yummy--especially after hanging them out on the line. i've used used a variety of eco-friendly detergents before, and this one smells the best. eco-friendly or not, having my laundry smell like fresh oranges is a nice bonus.

i am not a big fan of energy bars because they often have an off-bitter taste, like they crushed a giant multi-vitamin and tried to hide it in the mix. these are a pleasant surprise. they don't have an off-taste, instead taste very nutty and smooth. i recommend any of the chocolate flavors, which are fudgy and delicious!

Thanks for your review Susanna, I totally agree about the whole "fluoride is good for you" campaign. A lot of people don't know that there are at least two types of fluoride, calcium fluoride, and sodium fluoride... more »
