After 20 years of teaching I want to do something that benefits the environment. One of the ways that I have chosen to do that is to write this blog about reducing my use of single-use plastics.
More LessI am a retired high school biology teacher and very interested in the environment. One of my sons is a marine environmental activist. He has been on several research voyages to study the Pacific Garbage Patch to study plastic debris and its affect on the oceans. This has motivated me to do something in land-locked Indiana about plastic debris. I decided to write a blog on how to reduce one's use of single-use plastic. By writing this blog, I am educating myself and step by step, becoming a better inhabitant of my environment.
