Review of Almond Flour

Almond Flour is a great substitute for wheat.

For those of you who are gluten sensitive or know someone who is, almond flour is a great alternative you can use to make cookies, muffins, pancakes, cakes, pie crusts, pizza crust and so much more. Gluten, which is a protein found in wheat, rye, and barley is a hard protein for most people to digest. What's great about almond flour is it gives you a lot of protein which helps balance your blood sugar levels - just don't eat too much b/c nuts are high in fat, but a good fat. All my friends that try my gluten-free (made with almond flour) baked goods - love 'em.

So, try almond flour the next time you make muffins. There are great gluten-free recipe books out there.

Happy cooking!

Gentle Internal Detoxification

3 times a year I do an internal detoxification to cleanse my body of toxins. I love this product because it's easy, gentle, allergen free, and organic with no addicitve herbs. I've done others in the past that have casued me to "run" to the restroom, if you know what I mean ;) This product doesn't do that and I can feel it releasing toxins into my system slowly, rather then fast like some others. My symptoms have included a slight headache that went away after the first day and a few "outbreaks" on my chin. You also can keep your normal diet, but they recommend you remove alchohol, processed foods, and caffine and try and eat a whole foods diet mostly of veggies, fruit, brown rice, good quality proteins and limit your dairy intake. If you love your caffeine, I would recommend switching to green tea instead so you can get the most out of your cleanse. After day 2, I felt more energetic and slept much more soundly. I also feel it's important to sweat a lot too while detoxing, so I'd recommend kicking up your excercise routine. And, the results are fantastic....my clothes fit better and I have more energy. Great, easy-to-use internal cleansing system. Good luck if you decide to try it!

Awsome coverage that protects your skin

You'll love this line of make-up if you care about your skin. Not only is mineral make-up inert, it gives you great coverage in fantastic colors that last a long time. Also, mineral make-up naturally has an SPF rating of 18, so it will protect your skin from harmful rays. If you have any type of redness or discoloration it covers beautifully without looking chalky. It's my fav!
