Review of Fig Newmans by Newman's Own Organics

4 star rating Review of Fig Newmans July 26, 2007 | Posted in Food & Grocery

they are what they are These are the best wheat and dairy free cookies I have ever had. For being free of the "good stuff" (good tasting stuff, anyway), they were amazingly yummy. I'd almost wager that you could do a blind taste test and no one would know the difference between these and the traditional Fig Newtons!

Review of Papaya Mango Body Cream by Alba

4 star rating Review of Papaya Mango Body Cream July 26, 2007 | Posted in Skin & Body Care

My nose never lies! This body cream has a great, smooth consistency albeit a tad greasy. The tropical scent makes me want to lie in the tropics and drink Pina Coladas all day. Another great product by Alba!

Review of Lovesticks by Judy's Breadsticks

5 star rating Review of Lovesticks July 20, 2007 | Posted in Food & Grocery

Judy's bread = heaven in a brown bag I recently underwent the Master Cleanse, which means ten days on a liquid diet in an effort to rid my body of toxins and impurities. It's no wonder that I chose to break my fast with soup and, you guessed it, Judy's bread! That meal was a whole new experience with food for me. The perfectly soft...

Review of Pure Passion by Guayaki

5 star rating Review of Pure Passion July 19, 2007 | Posted in Tasty Drinks

Tickle me pink! Wow! I have found my new favorite drink! The passionfruit was the perfect complement to the mate flavor, just sweet enough to offset the mate's slight bitterness...pure honey on the tongue. Grab this when you're feeling indecisive, you won't be sorry!

Review of Organic Empower Mint Tea by Guayaki

4 star rating Review of Organic Empower Mint Tea July 19, 2007 | Posted in Tasty Drinks

Mintalicious! This mint-flavored mate drink is awesome. I really like how the soothing properties of mint have been incorporated into this drink. It's a natural complement to the mate flavor...now I'm just waiting for the late afternoon pick-me-up to kick in!

Review of Tangerine Orange Juice by Columbia Gorge Organic

2 star rating Review of Tangerine Orange Juice July 19, 2007 | Posted in Tasty Drinks

Too tart for my tastebuds! This juice tasted like it's been sitting in the fridge for a little bit too long, or like it came from 100% concentrate, or both. I've had tangerine-orange mix before and the tangerine has always lent a bit of sweetness, but alas, not in this case. I wouldn't pick this juice again.

Review of Body and Soul magazine

5 star rating Review of Body and Soul magazine July 10, 2007 | Posted in Watertown, Books, Mags, Music & Film

A beautiful publication! This is a wonderful magazine for light greenies, dark greenies, and everyone in between. It's probably the most mainstream magazine that's focused on health and sustainability, covering a wide range of topics from food to outdoor living to travel...the list goes on and on! It's chock-full of...

Review of Organic Black Gold Goat Cheese by Elk Creamery

4 star rating Review of Organic Black Gold Goat Cheese July 5, 2007 | Posted in Food & Grocery

Get your goat! This is a fabulous cheese. It was notably un-goat-like. A lot creamier and milder in flavor, although it still retained that kick and pungency that only comes with goat cheese. It's a great alternative if you're looking to escape from traditional goat cheeses.

Review of Rosemary & Sesame by Suzie's

4 star rating Review of Rosemary & Sesame July 5, 2007 | Posted in Food & Grocery

Great taste, light texture I'm a huge fan of rosemary - it's truly the Herb of the Gods. In fact, it has been a symbol of friendship and remembrance for centuries. Hundreds of years ago it was dipped in gold, tied with a ribbon and given as a keepsake at weddings. Although times have changed, one thing has stayed the same...

Review of Blackberry Ice Cream and Dark Chocolate Bar by Julie's Organic

4 star rating Review of Blackberry Ice Cream and Dark Chocolate Bar June 28, 2007 | Posted in Food & Grocery

the chocolate was good... ...but it tasted more like a vanilla bar instead of a blackberry bar. The smooth texture was nice, but the dark chocolate was definitely the best part. I would, however, buy them again.
