Review of Recycline, Inc.

Recycline

By recycling Stoneyfield yogurt cups along with other plastics, Recycline has created their Preserve line of products. Their products include toothbrushes, razors, toothpicks and plastic tableware.

They established this business to create quality products from recycled materials in order to close the loop by getting consumers more interested in making purchases. Recycline works to conserve their resources and be environmentally responsible.
Plus they have pledged to never test any of their products on animals. They have been successful in placing their products in local stores like Target, making recycled stuff accessible to a larger group of customers. Great products and a great company.

Review of Bamboosa

Bamboosa

For my website I look for companies who are interested in providing great products and service but are also on a mission to be environmentally and socially responsible. Bamboosa is a company like that.

I recently purchased a couple of bamboo shirts from them and was pleasantly surprised by their quick service. I liked that they used recycled paper for their packaging and product descriptions. It was tied with twine and it felt like I was opening a present.

The shirts were of course very nice and soft. I am very pleased with bamboo. They do a good job of informing you about bamboo and the benefits of using it for clothing, along with explanations of the process of creating clothing from bamboo.
Bamboosa makes their clothing here in the U.S. under sweatshop free conditions.

Their website is full of great ideas and links to other like minded companies.

This is business at it's best.

Review of Tropical Source

Tropical Source Dark Chocolate Mint

So good. Dark chocolate with tiny crispy little bits of mint. And it's vegan This is the chocolate to buy if you just want to indulge yourself. It comes in 3oz. bars and I had a hard time trying to eat this in portions. I wanted it all at once.

While it doesn't claim to be fair traded, the company does work to support cocoa growers by donating tools or resources. Of course it's better to buy fair trade certified because that certification assures that fair trade standards were actually applied to the growers.

Review of Granola

Peanut Butter Granola

Peanut Butter Granola, it doesn't get any better. It's nice and crunchy and not too sweet only 4 grams of sugar in a half cup. Loaded with all the good things you expect from an organic granola. Makes a good snack, I really preferred it right out of the box.

Jason Tea Tree Deodorant

In an effort to minimize my exposure to unwanted chemicals I have chosen to use natural deodorants with no parabans or aluminum.

Trying to find a natural deodorant that works is a real challenge. I have had good results from Jason Tea Tree Deodorant. It has a pleasing clean scent from the the essential oils. It works better than other natural deodorants I have tried. Not perfect but good.
And Jason's is great because they don't test on animals.

Aromatherapy Dryer Sheets

These are very nice smelling dryer sheets and they work as well as most fabric softener sheets. They are fragranced with essential oils and we are particularly fond of the lemon, lemon grass and peppermint scent.

The one drawback is the use of the ingredient labeled only as fragrance. As I have learned the word fragrance can be used in products and it can include any number of ingredients. The generic word fragrance has been used by some companies to put questionable ingredients like phlates which are of questionable safety. I don't know what fragrance means with Mrs Meyer's Dryer sheets but anytime I see fragrance I wonder.

Great Houshold cleaner

Simple Green has been around for years providing a safe, biodegradeable and environmentally friendly cleaner. It still is safe and effective at cleaning and cutting grease. I especially like to use it on my floors and in the bathroom.
