Jane Iredale's So-Bronze takes care of that pasty winter look (and summer, too, if you don't go out in the sun). The all-mineral formula is light and lacks all the bad stuff (particularly parabens) we women need to stay away from. It's not obvious when applied, so you can't look like you've been painted.

This is the best local whole food store around--the owners keep up on studies and information about organic products, GMOs, herbs and everything else you need to know. The spelt/kamut bakery items are unique and delicious--a real favorite.

This big, bright and beautiful market, 9 am-1 pm features the best local produce--both organic and inorganic, but all local-- nearly year round! In the summer, it's mobbed, but that's part of the fun. Not only produce, but plenty of local bakers, tofu makers, and delicious local foods for breakfast or lunch. Big winner!

I've tried other brands of non-dairy yogurt, and found them loaded with sugar and deficient on pro-biotics. Not this reliable brand! I've used it as a starter to make my own soy yogurt, so I know that if you're looking for a good plain brand that's great for digestion and not loaded with extras, this is it.

The tofu made by this Oregon company is so far superior to others, I can't understand why more stores don't carry it. None of the flavors (garlic and herb is my favorite) is bitter or has a "beany" taste--if you use it for dips or cooking, it's the best.
