trying to be a "greener" mama
My son turned 10 months old and I decided to give cloth diapers a try - the choices were overwhelming, but a few sampler packs later I was giving it a go and generally happy with my decision, but talking my husband into it and doing laundry were problems. Then I discovered "gDiapers . Starter pack is ideal to give it a try, and I LOVE these diapers! They are as easy as disposables to use and there's no big back-up of laundry. My husband tends to get the "poopy" ones which can be messy, so I haven't converted him completely, but the covers hold the mess in. The liners will stain some, but I'm okay with that. I have an older home with toilets I wasn't sure could handle the flushability - but they do fine - I stir the middle part well, and hold onto the outer layer until most has gone down and haven't had any problems. The covers are VERY cute. Even a wriggly baby (now 16 months) can hold still enough for the backwards closing velcro which I initially was leery of - but holding up well.
