Cousins Incredible
The decor is great. I am a rawfoodist and I find the food disappointing. The stuff on the salad bar all tastes like it has the same dressing and the food on the salad bar mostly tastes the same.
I come in from Oak Park periodically for business and have stopped at Cousins everytime since it is so close to my business contact. Everytime I come I am amazed at the very bad service. The owner needs to spend more time training his waiters and waitresses. The food usually is very disappointing. I suspect that the owner does not supervise the running of the restaurant.
The mark-up on the shelf products are 40% higher than the same item sells for at Whole Foods and other rawfood restaurants. Does the owner think that Chicagoans are stupid and don't compare prices? A little bit of a higher markup is understandabe but a 40% markup is ridiculous!
I suggest that the owner make price comparisons with his competition and adjust his shelf prices accordingly.
