Mining old cell phones is still lucrative

This reminds me of how we are starting to see the first commercial mining of garbage dumps in general, not just for cell phones... Does salvaging our existing industrial crust mean we are running out of new virgin raw materials? In any case, it's great to recycle and mimic nature.
