First timer sold on acupuncture and herbs....

This was my first foray into Chinese medicine, and I've been impressed by its immediate effect on my health.

I'm generally very skeptical and critical, but here's my experience so far:

My diagnosis is the same that all conventional western doctors/specialists have given me over the past year and a half, which inspired my trust and faith. And/but my treatment is completely different, which inspires my hope!

What I like is that everything Mark told me I might feel, I seem to be feeling. During acupuncture, I felt deeply relaxed and peaceful. When it was through, I was starving. Within days of starting the herbs, my appetite was back and my nausea gone. Within a couple weeks, skin is clear. This is after more than a year of feeling bad. Thus far I've had one acupuncture treatment and have been drinking herbs for a month.

I have another month of treatment to go. I will report back on my headaches, which I am still having.

I felt very comfortable with Mark and trusted him -- he struck me as very intelligent and grounded, and he was a good communicator, which is important to me in a doctor/practitioner/any sort of person who's going to be treating me and prescribing me stuff I eat.
