Good retreat

The school is a training retreat that offers participants an opportunity to go back to the center, toward the original joy of life. The work environment is pleasant and nurturing. I owe much gratitude for the work Dr. Ahern did and the class in which I had joy of taking part.

One critical note I offer is this: in order to pass the national certification exam which will encompass more than bare techniques and practical anatomy, you will need to augment this program with your own work and perhaps classes offered by other schools with specific intent of helping you pass the certification process.

Being able to have close and personal encounters, making friends, opening up to allow other people to touch your life, all those intimacies are an integral part and charm of the school. The personal relationship you build with each other is a major part of healing and learning process; however, beware that this also creates very slipperly personal boundaries at times. Many students who attend this school carry psycho-sexual-physical trauma of sort, and this is often an impetus for people going there. Working out and following through with your own ethical boundaries may prove more challenging in that atmosphere where you feel that this is the first person you have come to trust in years.

This is a school for succsess!!

I am apart of the school review board association SRBA
and I review hundreds of schools a year for proficiency.
This school adds up!
I was so lucky as to meet the instructor DR. Ahern who speaks a vision and philosophy
that gives the tools for one to achieve.
His curriculum is competent and complete and inspiring.
no one leaves his school without the knoledge and hands on training necessary
in the massage field.
including and not limited to:
-hands on in every modality taught
-buisness ethics and basic laws
-anatomy
-client and practicioner relationship
-health and safety
-and a complete array of modalities
each student with the option to absorb up to 1000 hours of knoledge at the rate of Dr Aherns intinerary
Dr. Ahern has studyed his practice from the U.S. all the way to china
When entering his school I was amazed it was like a creation from a great artist.
And it turns out it was all produced by his hands and minds eye.
This school is more then words it is a experience that I would suggest to anyone looking to get to the point and work hard.
Days of performance consist aprx 13 hours a day (discussion,book work and practice followed by more discussion)sometimes students wish to stay and study past these hours.
A tough class for those not prepared to endure this kind of scheduling.
And perfect for those ready for the journey!!
