Versatility at it's best
Although you'd think American Apparel caters only to young trendy folks by looking in their windows or at their ads, think again. I am a 31 year old mom and public school music teacher and I LOVE my AA pieces! Their dresses, tunics and leggings are great not only for my job, but for lounging on weekends and even nights out. Trying them on is a must, though--they don't always look the same on your body as they do on the rack or in pictures.

Customer service saints
American Canvas screen printing studio uses only sweatshop free apparel for our printing clients. We use numerous brands but American Apparel has consistantly been one of the 2 that have customer service departments that EXCEL in assisting us in making our customers very happy when it comes to correct and timely deliveryand also, the huge selection of styles and colors we are able to offer our clients is simply outstanding.

Stylish, simple, and beneficial.
A great, stylish, simple store. The clothes are all reasonably-priced and made by fair trade. Their new organic cotton line is soft and comfy!

great store---versatile items
this is one of my favorite clothing stores. the products feel good on the skin because it is made mostly of cotton and they are very light. the look of the clothes are casual but you can also use some of the items for special occasions like their dresses. i like the concept of having just one plain color per item because it makes it very versatile and you can pair it with anything. my favorite is their scarves because you can use them not just as a scarf but can also be a wrap around blouse during the summer or a headcover or a belt. You can use it any which way.

Great clothing for the young the old and everyone in between!
When I think of American Apparel, I think of comfort and durability. Its environmentally friendly and makes a fashion statement at the same time. I would definitely recommend it to people!
