On an Eco Trip

Ever since I read Rita Gelman's "Tale of a Female Nomad", I've wanted a new adventure, another trip somewhere off the tourist grid. But, right now I'm more of an armchair traveler, traveling vicariously through the eclectic sampling of adventures shared by our B&B guests. Perhaps this next year it will be mine turn again to travel...I'd like it to be an eco-trip!

I've recently learned of Amerika Venture - a tour operator that employs multilingual guides. Through their site and services they can assist me by: (1) customizing a trip for me, (2) suggesting possible itineraries, (3) offering various levels of skill and modes of travel. They have tours geared for people traveling with children. Travel adventures from 4-30 days are presented with supporting details: terrain, climate conditions, and related environmental issues. From their site, I can gather helpful and safe travel tips, use a currency converter, and explore travel insurance and flight options to...Patagonia?
