ASCOBIKE bicycle parking is most likely the largest bike parking not only in the Americas but in the world, with 17,000 bikes stored there daily!

ASCOBIKE is located about an hour from the industrial city of São Paulo, Brazil at the Maua commuter rail station. A safe storage facility and inexpensive ($5/mo.) for those traveling by foot or train to get to their destination from there, ASCOBIKE also provides social and legal education services and promotes bicycle advocacy. São Paulo, with a population of a half million people, is like many other cities with zero (in this case) to very little bicycle infrastructure to support the growing number of people depending on cycling as their main mode of transportation.
